In keeping with our commitment to safety, we now require that all GBA referees take the Heads Up Concussion Training course. This free online course, offered by the Center for Disease Control, is designed to teach adults how to recognize and respond to sports-related concussions. The course takes less than 2 hours to complete. You may take the whole course in one sitting, or you may take a couple of lessons at a time and save your progress as you go.
Once you complete the course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. You will need save the certificate as a PDF and upload it to your referee application. Note: If you referee another sport and have taken this training within the last 2 years, you do not need to retake the course. You may upload the completion certificate that you already have.
